Privacy

There is no login here, no newsletter and no comment box, so there is very little about you for this site to hold. What follows is mostly about Google's advertising, which is what pays for the hosting.

What this site collects

Nothing you have to type. Your light/dark preference and anything the browsable list remembers are kept in your own browser's local storage and never sent anywhere; clearing your browser data clears them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which film pages people actually read. It records the page you viewed, a rough location derived from your IP address (truncated before it is stored), and general device and browser details. We do not build advertising profiles from it and we do not sell it. Google's own explanation is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertising

This site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on that activity.

You can turn personalised advertising off in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors' advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

Advertising has no bearing on the ranking. No studio, distributor or estate has paid for a placement here, and none could: the scoring is published in full precisely so that a bought position would be visible as one.

Third parties

Pages are hosted by Vercel and typefaces served by Google Fonts; both receive your IP address as a necessary part of delivering the page, as any web host does. Outbound links to Wikipedia and IMDb are ordinary links — following one takes you to their sites, under their policies.
